Agreement to Legal Terms
By accessing, browsing, registering for, or using the EquiTrek educational platform and mobile applications (collectively, the "Services"), you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to be legally bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree with all terms outlined herein, you are expressly prohibited from utilizing the Services and must cease access immediately.
These terms constitute a legally binding contractual agreement between you and EquiTrek. Please read them thoroughly, noting particularly the simulation nature of the software, limitation of liability, and dispute resolution guidelines.
1. Simulated Educational Nature of the Service
EquiTrek is strictly an interactive behavioral education simulator. Under no circumstances is real money traded, invested, transferred, or placed at financial risk within our application. All virtual cash balances, simulated equities, option contracts, profit-and-loss curves, and portfolio resets are synthetic educational artifacts created to teach emotional market discipline.
EquiTrek is not a registered broker-dealer, financial planner, or registered investment adviser under the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), FINRA, SEBI, or any regional securities board. We do not provide personalized financial, legal, or tax advice, nor do we route real orders to public stock exchanges.
2. User Eligibility & Account Obligations
To register an account on EquiTrek, you must be at least 18 years of age or possess legal capacity in your jurisdiction. You agree to provide accurate, complete registration details and maintain the confidentiality of your authentication credentials.
You agree not to engage in unauthorized platform misuse, including:
- Deploying automated scrapers, web spiders, or unauthorized data extraction bots across our educational curriculum or simulation servers.
- Attempting to probe, scan, or reverse-engineer the AI Tutor behavioral classification algorithms or security architecture.
- Injecting malicious scripts, SQL payloads, or denial-of-service traffic into our edge network infrastructure.
3. Subscriptions, In-App Purchases & Cancellation
EquiTrek offers optional premium subscription tiers (such as Pro access with personalized AI Tutor auditing and custom simulation tracks). Subscription fees are billed on recurring cycles (weekly, monthly, or yearly) as clearly disclosed prior to checkout.
You may cancel your subscription at any time via your account settings. Cancellations take effect at the conclusion of the active billing period, ensuring uninterrupted educational access until the cycle expires.
4. Intellectual Property Rights & Restrictions
All curriculum content, behavioral finance modules, proprietary code, visual designs, brand trademarks, and Socratic evaluation algorithms are the exclusive intellectual property of EquiTrek. You are granted a limited, personal, non-transferable license to access the educational materials for personal self-improvement.
5. Limitation of Liability
EquiTrek and its officers, engineers, and educational contributors assume zero legal or financial liability for any real-world trades, losses, or economic outcomes you experience in live financial markets. You acknowledge that paper trading mastery does not guarantee real-world success, and you assume total responsibility for your independent investments.
